Suraj Kumar grew up witnessing a common struggle: pet lovers in smaller Indian cities had nowhere reliable to turn — no trusted breeders, no quality boarding, no accessible vet guidance. What existed was fragmented, unverified, and often unsafe. Rather than accept this as the status quo, Suraj set out to build the solution himself.
In 2023, he founded AnimalsLover with a lean team of 5–10 people and a clear mission: make pet parenting easy, trusted, and accessible for every Indian household — from Mumbai to Motihari. In just two years, the startup has served over 1,000 customers and completed more than 500 pet transactions and services, with an 80%+ customer satisfaction rate — remarkable for a young startup operating from Bihar.
